Annoying

Lately, I find many GWJers very very annoying....

I guess my friend list will just be that much shorter

humm..... It's Oct already? where did all the time go?

Roads been slippery lately...... I think something is wrong with either my tires or break... kinda scary to drive now. I hope I won't crash and die. that would be bad!

Going to buy some new tires soon...........

Taiwan update

Greatest SNOW FLAKE ICE EVER!!!!!!

Sorry for not updating as much as I use to. I just got back from Taiwan/ Japan on Tuesday and I've been having a bit of jet lag...

This was the trip I've been looking forward to for YEARS! It's been four years since I've been back. It's crazy how fast time pass us by.

Caution: Lots of food involve in my trip! Lots of eating.......
Trip details:

Day 1 & 2/ Thu & Fri: Left home around 630am on Thursday, Sept 1st to Dulles International Airport. Our plane departed at 9am. The plane ride wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was about 14 some hours to Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan.

We got to Japan around 33opm their time and left Japan on our next connecting flight at 5pm. Arriving to Taiwan at 8:15pm. We got out of the airport at 9pm... it took forever to go through the immigration line and finding our baggage at the baggage claim.

We didn't get home until 1030pm-ish which was too late for us to go to the night market like I was planing to.

Day 3/ Sat: Went to a super long 83rd birthday party (Grandpa) at this seafood place. It lasted from 11am - 3:30pm.... I had to rush out so I can make it to my haircut appointment at 4pm. After haircut we went to have a super yummy hot pot dinner then head to my aunts Optometrist store. It was nice seeing all the family again!

Day 4/ Sun: We had lunch and uncle/ aunt drove us down to the Taichung! We didn't come back to Taipei until 8pm that night due to heavy traffic...... it was a crazy and tiring day

Day 5/ Mon: Hung out with families all day!!!! Temple and food! Great day!

Day 6 & 7/ Tue & Wed: Got up super early and rode the High speed rail to Taichung. Had to be there by 9am......... the rest of the day was annoying.... lots of photo taking. We got to stay at this super nice hotel tho! The avg cost per night is about $700 USD! It's called the Lalu.


And more photo taking the day after that! ugh. We had dinner with grandma & aunt on Wed night! That was nice =D Got back to Taipei around 930pm then stayed at my cousins house!!!

Day 8/ Thu: Turned my dress in for alteration in the morning and had lunch with aunt, uncle and cousins then went visit my grandparents grave! God I miss them so much. I couldn't stop crying. Hung out w/the fam again in Taipei all night long~ Another great day!

Day 9/ Fri: Hung out w/the fam then went back to Taichung in the afternoon to pick out pictures. Dinner w/the fam again in Taichung afterwards.

Day 10/ Sat: Zoo with my nephew in the morning and a dig dinner with all my family at night!! Yummmmmm.

Day 11/ Sun: Had lunch scheduled with grandparents then dinner scheduled with my cousin's family. It's also the final goodbye day with everyone..... sad sad sad


Day 12/ Mon: Departed from Taipei, Taiwan to Narita, Japan at 8:45am. We got to Narita around 1pm and got to our hotel at 2:30pm. Then headed to Tokyo/ Shinjuku / Harajuku by rail & subway. Super long and boring day.... Lots of travel! Not much to buy due to the weak USD =(

Day 13/ Tue: Departed from Narita, Japan at 11am (Japan time). Got to Dulles International Airport around 11am on Tuesday (EST).

Here is my trip! Going back to Taiwan again in June 2012! I can't wait! Miss my nephew the most!

Nats vs. Mariners

Saw ICHIRO Finally!! It's been ...... 10 years since I wanted to see him play in real life and I never got to it. Thanks to David's reminder, we went to see him. I could not take my eyes off of him! Especially when he starts to stretch. =P



Lauren's Wedding in Stafford

Went to another wedding the week after Arsy's. This was def a more relaxing and chill wedding. Even though we didn't know many people there but we def had a blast! Met a few new friends! =) I def prefer American weddings over the traditional Asian ones.



July 4th weekend

TX trip to visit Mike and his wifey. It's been a little more than year since the last trip. It was fun. The best part of the trip was I got to meet up with some GWJers! Drexam & Blacksheep were so fun to chat with. Next TX, I'm def hanging out with them. LETS GO FISHING!



We went to see the fireworks at a private mansion on July 4th! That was an "interesting" trip.



As for now........
Going to buy tickets for Taiwan in Sept today. Cost lots!! But it's def worth it. It's been 4 years since my last trip there. I really do miss my families. I get to see my Niece!!! YAYAYA!

Update

Last weekend's wedding was interesting. I learned that I do not want to have a traditional Asian wedding because it is just a waste of time and lots of embarrassment. The event lasted longer than what it was planned.

Got to the brides place at 6/630...... I didn't get to leave until 130/2pm ish and I didn't get home until 3pm.... didn't have time to eat lunch. I spend my 2 hours at home taking care of my dogs and getting ready for the 2nd part of the wedding.

It took us a while to get to the wedding and at that point I didn't care if I was late or not. It's just ridiculous how you expect someone to give out 1.5 days away for this. I didn't get to eat until 8pm that day.........

But the best part of the day was me drinkings lost of beer and busted my knee elbowing other chicks during the bouquet throwing.

Other than the wedding.......
The carpet on the first floor needs to be replaced..... thanks to Noodles' poop.

Oh! Yesterday me & David went to a Mariners baseball game!!!!!!!!!!! vs Nationals. I FINALLY GET TO SEE ICHIRO IN PERSON!! I was a fan of his since 2001! for the whole 10 years............

I want to go to another game of his tonight but.... I don't think it's going to happen. My pups were so sad last night that I wasn't home until 10:30pm. =( I gotta make sure I'm not greedy! Seeing Ichiro once is enough....... next time I will go to Seattle to see him!!!!

Hummm.......
This weekend I'm going to a wedding. It's my friend's daughter's wedding. I'm excited!! I think this wedding is going to be a lot better than the last one. Lauren (the bride) is very crafty and she is also a school teacher. =)

I'm also dropping my pups off at my parents house this weekend because next weekend is the TX trip!!!! =D

STANLEY CUP DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man... Monday's game was a bit sad... I kinda guessed this would happen since every game has always favored to the home team so far in the finals. Soooooooo tonight we get to see WHO is going to win the CUP! Can't wait! This is the first season where I followed through every single game!!

Movie reviews

Canucks got killed last night! I had to stop watching in the beginning of 3rd period when the score was 5-0....... =(

Going to this golf tourney for work tomorrow with the intern.... I am not excited at all.. we are passing out free cigars and alcoholic drinks...ALL DAY LONG! I have to be at work at 6:30am... and won't be home until 8pm..... GODDDDDDDDDDD

Fast Five:
It was definitely a lot better than I thought it would be... being the 5th movie. I would say if you have time you should go see it!

Hang Over II:
SUCKED.... there are funny parts...... but the story plot is exactly the same (and Dan Band wasn't in there). To story plot is the most important part of the movie!

XMen: First Class:
Great movie!! I didn't want to go see this movie at first but damn! It is def worth my time. It's a must see on my list especially if you've seen the last few XMen movies.

My L4D kit! Come find me if zombie apocalypse happens! =P


Went hiking yesterday..... and my pups got TICKS!!!!!!! NOoOoOo! I freaked out and couldn't sleep last night..... thanks god for my vet visit..... its' all good now!

Busy busy weeks

I've been so busy both at work and home.

Last weekend I took both of my pups home to my parents'. They are due for both the vet and groomers this coming up week. I figure I can have a week of peace and pick them up next weekend- memorial long weekend!
